Get your Financial Aid Back on Track

If you are not eligible for financial aid at this time, do not let this derail your educational path. We are here to help get your financial aid back on track!

Our Get Your Financial Aid Back On Track workshops are designed for students who became academically ineligible to receive financial aid due to not meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements. If you have lost your financial aid eligibility due to a SAP issue, you have a chance to regain eligibility through the Financial Aid Appeal process. Our goal is to help you regain financial aid eligibility and get back on track for success.

At the end of this workshop, you should be able to:

  • Understand how SAP affects financial aid eligibility
  • Learn how to calculate your GPA
  • Know the difference between SAP and 盈禾体育 academic standing
  • Make informed decisions
  • Determine if you may appeal your ineligibility for financial aid based on extenuating circumstances
  • Start the appeal process to regain financial aid eligibility

Our office offers Get Your Financial Aid Back On Track virtual workshops to assist you with your financial aid appeal process. The Financial Aid Appeal Form is available for you to complete online.

What to bring with you:

These workshops are an opportunity for you to meet with the SAP Coordinator and possibly file a financial aid appeal as a first step toward reinstating your eligibility for federal and/or state financial aid for future semesters.

If you haven't already, be sure to complete your 2023-2024 FAFSA for Spring 2024 enrollment. This is important as there are some limited types of financial aid available for students regardless of their SAP status, but all of the programs require you to have a FAFSA on file.

Need assistance with completing your FAFSA? We can help! Financial Aid offers both in person and virtual FAFSA Workshops.

We look forward to assisting you. Please contact our SAP Coordinators, Naglaa Gaafar at 401-825-2100 OR Basima Al-Jallad at 401-825-1803 with any questions. To schedule a 30 minute appointment with Naglaa, please click here. To schedule a 30 minute appointment with Basima, please ckick here.
